With the City of Jacksonville’s Office of Sports & Entertainment presenting the event for the second consecutive year, excitement is in the air! Expect an impressive field of 96 players participating in a thrilling 54-hole, no-cut format.
A Global Stage
Last year, golfers from 12 countries, 23 states, and 46 colleges and universities participated, showcasing the incredible diversity and talent in golf today. This is certainly an event not to miss!
Junior Golf League Registration Now Open
On another note, registration for the 2025 PGA Junior League season is now open! Aimed at engaging players aged 17 and younger, it’s expected that over 77,000 players will participate this year! The league features divisions for ages 13 and under, 17 and under, as well as a new pilot program for 9 and under.
Looking Ahead
Programs will run from May through November, with a dynamic roster of various competitions happening at multiple local golf clubs. And don’t forget about the Underwood Cup coming up soon! The teams have been finalized for the match-play event set for February 2-3. With Mike Broderick captaining the professional team and Michael Del Rocco at the helm of the amateur team, we can expect some fierce competition!
